Have YOU ever had "one of those days" when you wondered if life could possibly get any tougher or worse? Yeah, me too. However, I would like to offer you this free "gift of perspective"... I hope it will help you in some way.
As a parent, there is nothing more gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, soul-crushing, and faith-testing than when your precious child is hurting or harmed in any way, shape or form. In January 2007, I experienced such a thing when my 4-year old son was involved in an "accident" that (still to this day) defies logical explanation and eludes human understanding.
Yet, as cliche as it may seem, I've come to realize there are no "accidents" and "everything happens for a reason"... I highly recommend reading the story 'My Child, My Hero' BEFORE watching the video, for it provides valuable insight as to how we have been able to begin "building an amazing lemonade stand out of some otherwise potentially rotten fruit" -- Enjoy
